Ethereal Counselling
A confidential space to explore the thoughts, feelings and challenges in your life
Welcome, and thank you for visiting Ethereal Counselling.
Are you feeling lost or struggling in life? Maybe you feel stuck in patterns that no longer work for you. Perhaps you feel scared, sad or frustrated but, unable to identify the cause. We all experience times of difficulty in our lives, when events or relationships feel overwhelming, or when we feel a loss of direction or purpose. Counselling can help you understand the challenges you face so that you can gain clarity to make positive decisions and feel empowered to initiate lasting change.
I am Francesca Robson, a fully qualified Person-centred therapist and member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I offer short and long-term online therapy sessions and work with young people and adults across a diverse range of issues. I have a particular interest in working with adults in recovery from addictions.
Person-centred therapy helps you explore your feelings, behaviours and attitudes, enabling you to make lasting changes that feel healthy and authentic. I focus on your needs and listen to you while providing a conducive environment for you to make decisions independently without judgement. I work with insight and sensitivity and provide a safe, confidential space for you to grow and take responsibility for your self-care.
Person-centred therapy enables you to eliminate the idea or feeling that external forces beyond your control influence you. The goals of this practice include increasing self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-acceptance, leading to improved emotional resilience and more meaningful relationships with others.
I am based in Deal, Kent and provide In-Person and Online therapy sessions all over the U.K. from London, Lancashire, Shropshire, Exeter, Manchester, Newcastle, Leicester, Nottingham, Glasgow, Cardiff to Plymouth.
Online counselling sessions usually take place every week and last 60 minutes via a secure Zoom link. They are a convenient way to undergo therapy at your own pace in the comfort of your private space. Individual sessions cost £60.00 per session. Payment is required before your appointment.
It can feel daunting reaching out but we all need help at times in our life. Just fill out this form or
call +44 7934 758582. I will get back to you within 24 hours during work hours.
I offer In-person and online counselling. Both are equally as effective ways to engage with therapy. For online counselling, after we both agree on a time and day, I send you an invite link via the secure platform Zoom to meet, and we begin our session. Sessions are weekly and last 60 minutes. The number of sessions depends on your preferences, but I will discuss this with you during your initial session. I offer both short and long-term sessions for £60.00 per session.
When you start working with an online therapist, you may feel apprehensive about beginning counselling. The therapeutic relationship is very important for success. I create a safe, non-judgmental space to support you so that we can build a trusting relationship. Online sessions are a very convenient way of undergoing therapy at your own pace, where you can find a quiet, comfortable space to be fully at ease.
Get in touch via francesca@ethereal-counsellng.co.uk and I will contact you to schedule an initial 10-minute FREE consultation. Here we will discuss what issues you are experiencing and your goals for therapy. You can also ask me any questions about the therapy process. If you want to proceed we can book your first in-depth online assessment session which usually lasts 60 minutes.
When you begin therapy with me, you control what we explore and discuss. My sessions take place in a safe and non-judgmental space, so you can talk freely and honestly about your experiences and current issues, helping you explore your emotions and feelings deeply. Therapy aims to help you find the answers from within, so you can understand better and move forward with your life.
Everything you discuss with me during our sessions is confidential. There are only two exceptions to this where I am obliged to break confidentiality: if you disclose involvement in or knowledge of any criminal activities or if there is a safeguarding issue if you or any adult or child related to you could potentially be under threat of harm or abuse.
